Fjord Royale Casino Hotel is a fictional destination deep in the Norwegian fjords, on a narrow green shelf where sheer rock walls rise more than a thousand metres straight out of water so deep and still it doubles the sky. Slate blue, glacier grey, pine green and weathered rust run through the whole casino hotel, built low and quiet beneath the towering cliffs.
Kayak the mirror-still water at first light. Ride the little ferry beneath waterfalls that fall from the clouds. Then step in off the shelf into our adults-only casino salon, warm and low against the vast cold stone outside. Everything in this casino hotel is dwarfed by a landscape carved by ice, and it is built to sit humbly within it.

Aquavit is poured ice-cold, the beer is Norwegian, and the room looks straight down the fjord a few steps from the casino hotel lobby.
